Exporting a GIF Made with After Effects Using Photoshop

In this video tutorial, we will show you how to export a video file and turn it into a GIF using Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.

First, create your animations in After Effects and prepare it to be a GIF. From the file export menu, add the file to the Media Encoder queue. Ensure that your bit rate is high and the resolution of the video file in After Effects is set to full to maintain the quality of the file.

Once you have saved your video file from After Effects, open it in Photoshop. You can play back the video and add other items if desired. After finalizing your video, go to file export and save it as a GIF. You can overwrite the existing video file if needed.
