In this tutorial, we will show you how to create a slide transition in Adobe Premiere Pro. Prepare two video files, or download the video files used in this tutorial to follow along as you watch the video.

Once you have your video files, drag them into a new sequence in Premiere Pro. Apply the slide effect by going to video transitions in the effects panel and selecting the push effect to transition between the clips after trimming them.

Next, overlap the last 10 frames of the first video with the beginning of the second video. Use the stopwatch in the effects control panel to adjust the position of your videos, bringing them closer or further apart as needed.
