60 After Effects Shortcuts You Should Know for Faster Editing

In this video, we will show you shortcuts in Adobe After Effects that can save you a lot of time when doing your edits. Using these shortcuts will enhance your workflow and make your editing process much more efficient.

**Shortcut 1: New Composition**
  1. To create a new composition, press Ctrl + N.


**Shortcut 2: Composition Settings**
  1. To open composition settings, press Ctrl + K.


**Shortcut 3: New Solid Layer**
  1. To create a new solid layer, press Ctrl + Y.


**Shortcut 4: Solid Settings**
  1. To open solid settings, press Ctrl + Shift + Y.


**Shortcut 5: New Adjustment Layer**
  1. To create a new adjustment layer, press Ctrl + Alt + Y.

  1. To start a RAM preview, press 0 on the numeric keypad.

  1. To save your project, press Ctrl + S.

  1. To undo, press Ctrl + Z.
