Creating an RGB Glitch Transition with Premiere Pro

In this tutorial, we will show you how to create an RGB glitch transition, also known as the chromatic aberration effect, in Adobe Premiere Pro. This technique involves isolating each individual color channel of your video.

Start by creating a new adjustment layer and placing it on top of your video clips. Position the adjustment layer at the center of where your videos intersect. Ensure that the adjustment layer is set to five frames long on both sides of the intersection, giving you a total of ten frames to work with.

Apply the "Channel Mixer" effect to your adjustment layer, followed by the "Transform" effect below it. After applying these effects, change the "Pass Through" blending mode to "Lighten." Toggle the visibility of your layers to see the changes you have made.
